I put in a requestfor Santa
to bring me more
for a nice long winter stash.

The deep plunk heard from
the bottom of a blue metal postal box
as the bunch were sent on their way...
But my most favorite,beyond compare
to anything else,
the four of us
together,
and at home is the best...

Really, I loved all of this. I could feel the warm, homey, Christmasy atmosphere. I LOVE a quiet house, Christmas music, and the only light being from the tree... *happy sigh*.

I laughed when I read about you enjoying a quiet house and sitting there with just the lights of the Christmas tree on. Because here lately, our tree has been acting as a nightlight since Kenna is deciding she likes to be held while sleeping and every time you lay her down she starts crying. So she has become a recliner baby.

Jerek has been enjoying playing with a Fisher Price Zoo my mom has kept since I was about 1 or 2. I love watching him pretend play with it, remembering the things I use to do with it.
